At VelocityEHS we are very customer focused. As a Customer Onboarding Manager, you will own the critical early phase of the customer lifecycle by onboarding VelocityEHS’s new clients. Your goal is to help customers efficiently realize the value of their new software, maximizing engagement, and ensuring the ultimate customer experience. This is a customer facing role and one that works cross-functionally with account executives, account managers, and CX teams. A strong focus on customer lifetime value, project management, and process will be core to success in this role.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Ability to identify with customer’s mindset.
- Strong understanding of business needs.
- Experience maintaining a high level of activity, managing multiple ongoing projects, and working effectively in a team environment.
- Detail oriented and self-motivated.
- Become an expert in VelocityEHS products and solutions.
- Mentor and coach customers as they go through the onboarding process.
- Manage setup of software for multiple products for customers going through the onboarding process.
- Evaluate onboarding effectiveness.
- Facilitate resolution when a customer presents concerns or faces technical issues.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Velocity EHS’s newest clients, owning the onboarding phase of the customer lifecycle.
- Project manage a portfolio of customer onboardings to successful outcomes, accelerating Time to Value.
- Deliver add-on Services (e.g. Document Upload)
- Manage setup of multiple software products/modules.
- Actively lead customer-facing communications (virtual, written)
- Effectively deliver engaging enablement training and workshops on a variety of product offerings.
- Drive early adoption.
- Help build processes, internal enablement, and servicing tactics.
- Communicate requests for system enhancements or modifications to the Product team.
Minimum Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant area or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of experience in customer onboarding or related role within a SaaS industry
- Experience maintaining a high level of activity, managing multiple ongoing projects, and working effectively in a team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Strong decision-making and organizational
- Detail oriented and self-motivated
- Experience working independently, but can also be an effective team member
- Pro-active learner and open to constructive feedback
- Effectively manage customer expectations
- Active listening skills
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Additional languages a plus
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Workfront, or Gainsight
- Proficient in 6 Critical Skills Training
VelocityEHS is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices by offering market-based salary ranges. The expected salary range for this position is between $68,500 and $88,250 USD (United States) or $67,400 and $85,150 CAD (Canada). We aim to hire between the minimum and midpoint of the salary range and offers at the maximum of the range are uncommon. The final offered salary will be based on candidate’s proficiency in skill set, prior relevant experience, internal equity, market considerations, and other factors. This role is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package.
