VelocityEHS is accepting Co-op/Intern student applicants able to work 40 hours per week between the months of September – December for approximately 14-16 weeks.

We are seeking an optimistic, outcomes-focused individual who is excited to explore a career in software or the EHS (Environmental, Health, & Safety) and ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) industries. VelocityEHS software solutions serve a broad variety of industries including manufacturing, automotive, pharmaceutical, and food & beverage. This internship role is designed to give young professionals hands-on experience across the software lifecycle by supporting collaboration across our sales, product, and customer enablement initiatives.

Customer Experience Solutions Consulting & Product Enablement is an internal operations team that works to streamline and enhance the customer experience by bridging gaps between Sales, Services, Success, Support, Product, and Development. Consultants on this team have a passion for creative problem solving, relationship building and collaboration, and providing subject matter expertise to deliver solutions with exceptional customer journeys. Our interns work under the direct supervision of these consultants, leading to a unique opportunity for learning and experience in a variety of fields.

Ideal candidates will have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, the ability to work with a variety of people, and an aptitude for problem solving. A typical day for a Customer Experience Solutions Intern will vary, and those best suited for the role will have strong organization and communication skills and show ease in transitioning between projects. Project involvement may include developing training resources for our sales team, brainstorming user experience ideas to enhance our products, presenting professional development opportunities, and designing tooling dashboards and automations. We use a team approach combined with one-on-one education to bring out the best in people. Our Intern needs to be able to work remotely and maintain open communication with their supervisor and team.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Customer Experience (CX) Solutions team works to streamline and enhance the customer experience by bridging gaps between Sales, Services, Success, Support, and Product. Consultants on this team have a passion for problem solving, with interpersonal savvy and subject matter expertise to deliver an optimal customer journey and technical solutions.

Minimum Skills and Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in health, safety, environment, sustainability, or software, such as: Occupational or Public Health; Kinesiology or Human Kinetics; Industrial, Systems, Environmental, or Biomedical Engineering; Human Factors or User Experience; Environmental Science or Sustainability
  • Experience maintaining a high level of activity, managing multiple ongoing projects, and working effectively in a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated
  • Pro-active learner and open to constructive feedback
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week
  • Capacity to stay motivated and connected in a remote work setting

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  •  Work experience in the software, and/or Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS), and/or Environment, Social, Governance (ESG) industries
