We are excited to announce that our 5th Annual Humantech Summit will have a new venue this fall, at the historic Merchandise Mart building in downtown Chicago. It will follow VelocityEHS’ Accelerate 2019 User Conference, taking place at the same venue. Humantech is now part of the VelocityEHS family, which means you are too. So we hope you'll consider joining us for both.
Accelerate 2019 includes two action-packed days of EHS sessions, case studies, and networking events on October 1-2. The Humantech Summit will follow, with a kick-off dinner and guest speaker on the evening of October 2nd and a full meeting agenda on October 3rd.
Please note that the Humantech Summit is an invitation-only event, with no registration fee. You take care of your travel and hotel, and we'll take care of the rest. However, space is limited. Questions may be directed to Lauren Caris or (734) 663-6707. We are expecting to fill up early. To ensure your spot, please register by September 16th.
Make the most of your time in Chicago by coming early for Accelerate 2019, the VelocityEHS User Conference taking place October 1-2, in the same location. Ergonomics will be integrated within the Accelerate 2019 agenda too. So we hope you can join us for one or all three days. (Please Note: there is a registration fee for Accelerate 2019). Occupational back pain is the leading cause of injury, accounting for roughly one third of all musculoskeletal injuries. Discussions within a variety of industries have highlighted specific challenges workers face, such as lifting in awkward postures, repetitive tasks, and bending for prolonged periods of time.
Soft exosuits are lightweight, textile-based systems that feel and move like clothing but are designed to measure human motion and offload strain during physically strenuous tasks. They assist when needed (e.g. lifting, holding a static posture) and can be “transparent” at other times, meaning a wearer won’t feel restricted during non-lifting activities such as walking, driving a truck, or taking a break.
The customer success team and a featured client will highlight their journey using the Humantech industrial ergonomics software.
Director of Product, Carol Heffernan, will highlight recently-released features as well as development work on the product roadmap.
Experts will lead clients through a working session focused on sharing best practices for using the Humantech ergonomics software solutions.
