What Is A Hazard Studies?
Hazard studies support the flexible definition of almost any structured EHS hazard identification and analysis process. In general, you complete a hazard study by identifying basic hazards of the materials and the operations, collecting information (if any) on previous hazardous experiences with the processes, and determining what further information and controls are needed to address safety, health, and environmental issues. Almost any type of hazard study can be defined, including hazard identification (HAZID), hazard and operability study (HAZOP), failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA), and job safety analyses (JSAs).
