Register for the 2021 VelocityEHS Short Conference, on Monday, May 12th, to see five sessions that could only be presented by experts of the EHS world.
The conference begins with a powerful presentation from Matt Airhart, President and COO of VelocityEHS, at 10 a.m. EST, sharing “How Technology is Transforming EHS.” He’ll discuss the future of technology and innovation, and the incredible results that can be achieved by embedding software with human expertise.
The “Risk vs. Compliance: A Fast-Paced Panel Discussion” that immediately follows at 10:30 a.m. EST will highlight the distinction between compliance and risk. This is an interactive session in which audience members can ask a question to a panelist, who then must answer in a specified amount of time (presidential-debate-style!)
At 11:40 a.m., Michael Mauro, Divisional Ergonomics & Error Proofing Champion with W.L Gore and Associates, Inc., will lead “W.L. Gore and Associates, Inc. Systems Approach Built to Stand the Test of Time.” In this session, audience members will learn how to develop a systems approach, sustain a process, and initiate accountability measures to ensure that their ergonomics programs are built to last.
The afternoon kicks off at 12:24 p.m., with another panel discussion, “Data: Too Much, Too Little, or Just the Right Amount?” Attendees will enter breakout sessions based on the discussion of interest and the maturity level of their environmental, health, and safety process. There they will learn best practices for measuring the right “stuff,” communicating risk so that it is understandable, and using it to add the most value to the organization.
At 1:50 p.m. EST, Dave Risi, Director of Industrial Hygiene of VelocityEHS, will present the final session of The Short Conference, “7 Ways Technology Can Streamline Your Industrial Hygiene Program.” In this session, attendees will learn how to establish and maintain the seven critical IH program elements. In addition, they’ll take away strategies they can implement to reduce the time and effort required to manage worker health and compliance, adopt an integrated approach to IH program management, and drive continuous improvement of IH program performance.
The short of it is, if you miss The Short Conference, you’ll miss out on a one-of-a-kind EHS event. Register now!
